Neal & Thuy, the husband and wife duo, are the heart behind Fern & Feather Studio, but it’s Neal’s eye and story sense that quietly drive the films. As lead cinematographer, he brings a calm, observant presence and a deep feel for emotion and timing to every wedding he shoots. Outside of weddings, Neal has crafted emotionally driven films for brands like Cartier, Facebook, Harvard Business School, National Geographic, and BBC, work that’s sharpened his instincts for narrative, pacing, and visual storytelling at a very high level.

All of that experience filters back into Fern & Feather: refined, cinematic imagery paired with honest, human moments, so couples end up with wedding films that feel as considered and impactful as the best documentary.
